Question by : I am thinking of putting up heating cables on roof to prevent ice buildup?
It is not a flat roof-I do have gutters and very large icicles form
Actually I didn't mean I would do it- I was wondering if it was worth the expese- to have a roofing
co. do it ( I would get an estimate if it was worthwhile- )

Answer by michael88tI would call a roofing contractor to get their opinion..I wouldn't try it..It would take a ton of "heat tape" cabling to make
