Found at 1101 N. LaSalle in Chicago, this gas station was developed shortly right after the North Pole Ice Cream Retailer, which each had a roof and partitions supported by a cable program affixed to steel masts. The caissons had been driven beneath the foundation which allowed a considerably greater roof to be supported than would have been otherwise feasible. The building supplied area for
