Is my dryer vent supporting to cause ice dams on my roof?

Issue by whotoblame: Is my dryer vent aiding to lead to ice dams on my roof?
I have a dryer vent that exit the residence about 5 ft (floor stage) under the roof. I have ice dam difficulties all all around the residence simply because of old, inadequate insulation, but the worst damming takes place straight higher than the dryer vent and I am acquiring h2o leaking from the ceiling onto my dryer. The roof is pitched extremely shallow in this region also, which of training course does not help
