Concern by : How must my roof have been completed?
Home built in 1952. Tongue and groove roof sheeting, straight not affreux diagonally.
They utilized two items of 1x6, sandwiched collectively for the fascia, in 1952. There is an air gap about an inch or much more amongst the sheeting and fascia. At first they utilised a layer of ceder shakes to bridge the gap and provide a drip edge of types.
The roofer nailed the new drip edge on top rated of the fascia, and then shingled up to it. It seems
